United Airlines Warehouse (Newark Airport) – 100 Frontage Road, Newark NJ

Concord Consulting Engineering as an engineer of record and DJM Consulting Engineering, LLC provided MEP + FP engineering design services. This was done on phase 3 of the tenant fit-out space (60K square feet of the warehouse segregated from the 220K square feet).

Design plans were submitted to DOB and approved by the city of Newark.

Design included life safety system, providing power drops for their incoming equipment, electrical PIT vehicle re-charging areas. 20K SF office-fit out and full HVAC system. Coordinated a low-voltage for Security, IT, and AV, ventilation, lighting, and fire-protection of the base-building systems Analyzed and proposed the relocation of sprinkler heads, lighting, etc. to reconcile with the incoming warehouse racking / conveyance and office fit-out and the high-capacity generator to maintain building operations in the event of a power failure. Also provided CA service.
